Leszek Ossowski



Teacher of Mathematics and Geography

President of NSP Pitagoras. A graduate of the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Geography (Department of Latin America, Institute of Developing Countries), as well as postgraduate studies in Educational Management and Mathematics. He is also an official mathematics examiner for the Regional Examination Board (OKE). Since the very beginning of his professional career, he has been involved in broadly understood education. After graduating, he worked for two years for Gazeta Wyborcza and the Center for Citizenship Education as part of the “School with Class” initiative. After moving to the Tricity area, he worked at Sopot University of Applied Sciences and at the Sopot Autonomous Schools, and later at the Gdańsk Autonomous Schools as the Headmaster of the Gdańsk Autonomous High School. From 2010 to 2013, he served as Headmaster of the international primary school Warsaw Montessori School, and subsequently as Headmaster of the Cecylia Plater-Zyberkówna Schools. Between 2011 and 2013, he cooperated with the Educational Research Institute as an expert in the field of natural sciences. He is a member of the National Association of School Management Staff, the Cecylia Plater-Zyberkówna Educational Society, and the Catholic Intelligentsia Club. Privately, he is Dorota’s husband and the father of Tosia, Ania, and Franek.
